I captured this brief moment when the isolated branches of a tree were reflected on the still water of Chisholm Lake in Tasmania.
Specific Feedback and Self-Critique
Whenever I shoot reflections on water, the image usually fills the frame and appears quite abstract due to the distorted and fluid patterns. I like that this image differs from my “usual” reflections shot - the subject is obvious, and there is a lot of negative space. I think that stripping away the colour enhances the simplicity of the scene.
