On a long drive home after an even longer August day I pulled over for a break. I knew the full moon would soon rise but had lost track of exactly where (and had no cell service). As luck would have it, it came up right in front of me framed by trees. The downside? It was across a lake , beyond the reasonable reach of my lens. I set up on the roof of my “Toyota tripod,” made several exposures and cropped the heck out of it.
