Taken in Iceland about 11 years ago. This is a geothermal pool near Geysir In the central part of the country. This is a small pool. I was not to find any other people looking because they were so busy main Large geyser. The major attract at the. Location.

Anything that helps me as a photographer improve my skills
I think, I would do the same, I would choose the less crowded place. Obviously the pool is the key object in this image. I wasn’t there so it’s hard to say but I would probably try to get closer and position my camera at a spot allowing show more of the pool’s interior.
Unfortunately, getting closer is not an option around these geothermal areas. First of all, it is dangerous and second of all everything is pretty well demarked as to where you can go. So yes, I could’ve changed things and post processing. But for me, I was trying for the big picture.
