The water is a bit messy, but I don’t usually see the “green wing” so prominently. And the color of the water seems to go along with the subject.

Beautiful job on the Teal, Allen. For my taste, the background isn’t attractive enough to need that much of it, so I think I’d crop a moderate amount off the top and bottom to emphasize the bird more and de-emphasize the background.

I also prefer the repost. The teal is in very flat light though. That would be my only criticism but nothing you could do about it when you were there. It is a rather messy location.

Excellent detail and you may want to reduce the sharpening as the image has a lot of sharpness already present. Repost is nice and that green is especially nice. You may want to darken any shadows present due to the flatness provided by the light. Still, it is impressive how you got this close to a very skittish duck. Well done…Jim
