Happy Halloween

A popular area to search for migrating warblers in spring, this trail located in the Hawthorn Bluff campground on Oologah Lake in NE Oklahoma seemed to me a good place to celebrate Halloween recently. Legend has it that the area was so named due to a local cattleman who was allegedly murdered in the area before Oklahoma became a state, his skull later discovered in the area.

Great shot. Happy Halloween, Terry.

This is a really cool shot for Halloween, Terry. I hate to move it, but I think it belongs in non-nature, despite being a nature trail. Human and Fauna is supposed to include fauna either domesticated, captive or wild but in an obviously human setting. I suspect their are bugs in this image, but they’re a bit too small to detect.

I’m good with that, Dennis. I almost placed it in non-nature to begin with.
