Mod D610 camer, 300 f2.8 w/ 1.4 @ 420mm, Eqm -35 mount
about 2 hours imaging. Guitar string and Duct tape for the star crosses.
Stack in Astropixel, PP in Pixinsight, Capture one.
I am really enjoying your deep sky images, Dan. They create a sense of awe of the massive and beautiful universe we live in. I agree that the composition of this one is particularly well done.
Less small star streaking here and the bigger stars are nicely blue with less gray in the centers. The BG is nicely black. Very nice reds. But the guitar strings don’t do the best job of replicating the delicate starbursts of the mirror vanes on a telescope. What are you using – the top E string, or the bottom, or one in between?
