Description

Imagine waking up and looking out your cottage window to see a beast like this taking a stretch. Last week’s high winds blew in this visitor and this represents Michigan’s 10th occurrence of a brown pelican. This one is worth some laughs as when a pelican stretches, everything including the pouch gets a good stretch…Jim

Specific Feedback

Not really an artistic shot, but does serve to generate a few laughs for sure. My guess is that I could still crop some from the RH side. What do you think?

Always exciting to see a rarity, Jim, and you captured an interesting pose and good detaiil. I think the crop is okay-gives it room to stretch into.

Very cool, Jim. I never realized the pouch would move that way when they stretch. Next time I have an opportunity to observe these lolling around I’ll have to look for it.
