About This Image

I caught this guy out back and was glad that he held still long enough for me to get him in my crosshairs.

Technical Details

Z9, 180-600 lens, Nikon 1.4 TC, monopod, 1/1600th, f 8.5, 945mm, ISO 25600, cropped to 2070 x 2383

Great photo. I love that his one leg is slightly lifted, he’s ready to go! I might try giving him a little more room to run with the cropping but I do like the photo as is.

Lov e the pose Dave! I like all the elements in this image. The foreground and the background and the rabbit.

I’m not sure what is going on, but feel there is something off in the processing. There’s some smudgy bits in the OOF areas that would be an easy fix, but the rabbit seems to have a bit of a “cut and paste” appearance? Maybe too much DN at that ISO.

As Timothy mentioned, maybe a little more room to run into?
