Another image from my recent visit to Joshua Tree National Park. There was heavy cloud cover at this late afternoon hour but the sun peeked though so I shot it backlit for a silhouette effect.
Specific Feedback
I processed the image to emphasize the silhouette (darkened the ground a bit) and brought out some blues in the sky. Effective?
I like what you did here Dean. The silhouette works beautifully and the sun is perfectly placed in the Joshua tree. The clouds add some nice drama and fit the mood of the scene. Beautifully done!
