A good look at typical duck mating behavior, Jim, despite being domesticated ducks, they act pretty much the same. The detail in the whites looks pretty good, though I think one of the microcontrast adjustments like Topaz Detail could bring out a bit more texture in them. You might consider cropping some off the bottom as it feels like there’s a lot of empty space down there.

Thanks Dennis, I watch ducks alot and this is something I see often. I watch them so much, I kind of know what they’re going to do next. Like flying away, LOL!

I’m glad I’m not a female duck…and this conveys why. Nice capture of the behavior. I agree with Dennis on toning down the whites some. It’s getting to be that time of year here.
