Another play practising my macro stuff
Tried to get both of them in the same plane of focus but not quite succeeded , so tried to darken the top right one.
There is an alternative crop tight on the in focus one
Huw: The tight close up works well for me but the OOF second HF does pull my eye and immediately got my attention. I do think you could also crop a bit looser for an alternative view of the main subject. The colors do look good and the detail on HF 1 is marvelous. >=))>
I’d say in this case to go with the tighter crop, Huw. The second hoverfly is just a bit too far away and close to the edge in the wider view to get any attention, so I’d go with the old saw that “if it doesn’t add anything, get rid of it.”
