Lucky

Black Phoebes will constantly fly on and off their perch, but it’s hard to anticipate this and I got lucky with this shot, getting the head and eye pretty much in focus.

Great catch with a lovely wing position and wonderful BG! You might try the motion blur removal I just posted in Discussions, but I suspect its success depends on more pixels on the subject, and a clean NR first. Worth a try, though.

Hi Allen
Small fast bird are always a challenge to photograph. I am ok with the motion blur in the wings. Luck is always my best friend.
