Was driving through a local park and saw this meadowlark on this perch. Inched he car as close as I dared and took a few photos. Not much done besides a crop. All feedback welcome.

Lyle, excellent job on the sneak attack here. A really fine take on this guy at high pitch vocalizing too. Nothing better than being out in the field photographing with these fellas serenading away in the background…

Nice singing pose captured in nice light. Clean background and excellent colors on the bird. Not the most attractive perch, but he picked it.
