A beautiful composition, Sandy. It’s hard to tell at your preferred scale, but the bird in flight looks a trifle soft and I think I’m seeing a slight sharpening halo.
Very nice to be able to get two merlins in one frame, Sandy. With the f/8, it looks like you are prepared, too. If it were mine, I would play with the contrast a little bit. I think it is a little heavy handed as presented. You are so lucky with that kind of clouds in the BG!
I really like the composition but I have to say I’m also seeing the same issues that both Dennis and Adhika saw with respect to softness on the left in-flight bird and the sharpening halo. I think you can get away with out changing the contrasts so much by simply getting where it of the brown frame which I find to be more heavy-handed in this case
