The bright morning sun made these rocks glow like gold. Mono lake lights up beautifully at twilight and dusk hours. That time had already past, but I was still loving the scene these mountains and lake were offering. Taken Feb 2017

Ynez, this is lovely with the stripes of color. The gold on the tufa looks great against the snowy ridges. The moon looks great and Iā€™m also enjoying that wisp of cloud under the moon.

This is a lovely shot of Mono Lake with the snow coming down into the valley below and the golden tufa. I was just at this location this week and it looks very different. The moon adds a lot, and I like the dark cloud hovering under it.
