Description
This was taken during the evening cruise on Lake MacDonald in Glacier NP, Montana, USA. The wind had the waves up pretty high. The light was dramatic due to the clouds and being late evening.

Are the whites too bright? Is the composition OK, Thanks for your comments, recommendations for similar situations, and suggested fixes.

Canon 5DMiii, f7.1, 1/640s, iso 100, -1.3ev, 24-105 lens at 58mm. Straightened and cropped for composition. Handheld from moving boat on windy lake.

Ed, the contrast between the dark water, dark clouds and nicely lit land is striking. The shadows in the mid-ground are good additions. In the large view, the whites near the top of Mt Jackson may be too bright.
Thank you @Mark_Seaver and @Dave_Douglass. I tried to tone down the whites with the -1.3 ev, but I think when I lifted the shadows it may have accentuated the extra bright patches of snow up there. I will think about going back and seeing if I can selectively tone down those whites. I think the water is what makes this image for me since it was really windy and the waves were pretty rough.
Hi Ed, You have shared a wonderful image here. A touch of selective highlight recovery and/or whites reduction on the snow on the left side mountain and in the bright patch of clouds on the right might balance things out quite nicely.
@guy thank you for your recommendation. I’ve gone ahead and selected just the whites and burned them back a bit. I think it is subtle, but makes a difference. Thank you.
