This one is from 10 days ago. Another hot, dry day when the birds were interested in staying hydrated. It didn’t hang around long.

Is this a composite: No
Sony A1, FE200-600 + 1.4 TC @ 469 mm, tripod with gimbal head, blind, f/9, 1/1000, iso 1000, manual exposure. Processed in LR & PS CC. Cropped to 7960x5352. I did a fair amount of background cleanup and burned a couple of brighter areas in the background that were distracting. Taken August 3 at 9:10 AM.

Very nice this came out lovely, Dennis. The dove has some beautiful low light on it and the feather details are very crisp.

Hi Dennis
I really like the framing, the darker background helped the Dove to stand out. The feather detail and color range is outstanding.
