Description

Thanks to everyone for helping me here on the NPN. Your help and other photographers have taught me so much. This GUY would not turn around. He spread his wings and I shot a couple images. This is a different way to look at a dragonfly… But I shot it in RAW … Learned a lot. Thanks everyone for your help !!! I decided to post this image. Different with no rules !!!

YES the framing could be better … Its his REAR !!! But i shot with new technique and editing ideas..

Gil - a cool shot! No one requires us to be conventional - always experiment! And good for you for stepping into RAW shooting - it allows so many more editing options.
There is quite a bit of noise evident here - needs some Noise Reduction. I highly recommend DxO Pure Raw 4 (not 5 yet, it’s very slow) . I think they still have free trials.
Run your RAW image through it first, before any editing, and you’ll be amazed.

Thanks. I used photoshop noise reduction. I’ll look into the other noise reduction as I go. I saw other photographers on the NPN go with ISO 1000. So I went out. And shot some challenges. I’m out of my comfort zone for sure. But I had fun.
