Not sure if I prefer it in Portrait or Landscape. This is the first stack I’ve done where I didn’t have to clone out double edges.

D500 + 105mm micro, f14 1/800 ISO 1000, diffused flash, tripod

Stacked 7 shots in Affinity Photo - selected flower and adjusted a little for Highlights and Contrast. Neat Image for NR and Sharpening. Slight cropping. Gaussian Blur to BG.

I think focus stacking is perfect. Magenta tulip nicely stands out with BG of complementary green color. Landscape makes this image stable and comfortable. What about darkening BG a little?

Nicely done, Mike. There is plenty of detail in the petals and the droplets are a nice touch.
