My first thought was : Need a clockwise rotation, but gee that is some sweet light.

Edit: I like the big boulder on the lower left, but I think it could be cropped from the bottom just a bit. Like this;

That is some sweet Morning light. I assume it’s morning. It just has that look. Yes a slight ccw rotation. Without looking at specs, I assume you used an nd filter to get the texture in the water with that bright light. :clap:

Hi @Michael_Lowe : Do you mean clockwise? Looking at my offering, it seems like it needs even more clockwise rotation than I applied. Oh, I see, you mean it has a CCW rotation and needs a CW rotation.

Yes I means it has a slight ccw rotation. After I posted I realized I wasn’t too clear,

Well, context clarified it too :innocent:.

Class is back in session my clarity patrol is on high alert.

You certainly had great light that evening. I like how it’s bouncing off the foreground rocks. Other than the mentioned horizon tilt issue I think it would have been nice if you had let the wave partly wash across the sand and leave a white stripe or bubbles. I think the lower left quadrant could use something. But with moving subjects it’s very hard to predict.

Joao, I agree with the others about the tilt, but that’s an easy fix. Otherwise I like everything about it. The lack of features in the lower left seems appropriate to me and it juxtaposes nicely with the busy-ness of the rest of the shoreline.

Thank you all for your nice comments, especially those who worry about the direction on my horizon.
I’m not quite sure what happened, but sometimes our horizons and plans go off the rails.
