This hawk first perched on top of the backyard bird feeder yesterday and then moved to the fence post. He did not manage a songbird meal. I used pishing to get the bird to look at me.

Sweet image, Allen. Superb detail in the plumage and a great pose. The pishing seemed to work-I usually just ask them for a better head turn.

Allen, I don’t think it can get any better than this! Superb details, as already mentioned, and that look he is giving you, the background that compliments him, really a sweet image, deserving of a space on the wall.
