River of Leaves

'Tis the season now for fallen leaves. This little scene caught my eye because of the way the leaves looked to be flowing along erosion channels in the rock.

Specific Feedback Requested

Any critique welcome. I’m reasonably happy with this, but I’m wavering about the color in the URC. Do you think it should be closer to the rest of the rock?

Great find, Bonnie. Totally enjoying the abstract quality and the leaves have settled into the channels. The color of the rock in the URC doesn’t bother me, mainly because it looks natural. It will be interesting to hear what others think.

The shape and flow of the leaves is nicely complimented by the shapes and patterns in the rock. The color in the URC tugs at my attention a bit although it nicely compliments the color in the leaves–it might be worth experimenting with adjusting the color and/or tone.

This is a very nice and graphical image @Bonnie_Lampley ,
I sure love the flow.
If you mean that red color spot, I would have crop it (clone It) out.
