Robin collecting twigs

I think this shot is kind of funny which may be a good one for April 1. And I actually took this shot on April 1 two years ago at the local botanic gardens.

Allen, this is excellent on all count. Although the eye is partially obscured, but the head turn makes up for it. The low POV is excellent. Detail and sharpness look very very good.

Really nice image - it’s definitely nesting season!
Sharp, nice pose, and a real mouthful!
Sandy

Definitely nesting time there, Allen. Ours are still flocking together, though some of the males have started to sing. Excellent image with both the Robin and nesting material sharp and a nice low viewing angle.

Really fun image. The eye being partially obscured by the overload of nesting material adds to the whimsy. IQ is really good. No nits from me.

Now that’s a mouthful. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Robin with that much nesting material in its mouth at one time. Good job in the color, detail, and environmental measures. I’m not bothered by the obstructed I’ve because this is an environmental/behavioral image.
