A unique image with an appropriate title! I love the blowing feathers!
I think the piece of ice or foam along the upper right edge is a bit of a distraction that would be easy to remove. I wonder if there is more detail to pull out of the shadows and highlights on the head and breast. A linear profile might give you more tonal overhead in the highlights.
Very interesting indeed. The light appears to be coming from the top left - based on the shadows on the bird - difficult to expose for sure - I would try to recover detail on bot, the the white hot bread s well as the dark parts of its face and head
And of course, I love the hair do !
