SQUAWK !!!

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

Pantanal, Brazil
One of 6 juvenile birds, scampering about. We were not close at all, but they felt a little threatened, so ran to a stump, hopped up, and began alerting the world.
These are quite different than the African Secretary birds.

Great action in all three images, Sandy. You had a most cooperative subject for this one. The last one is my personal favorite, but I’ve always been a sucker for that kind of image.

Although all 3 are wonderful, I’m with Dennis in preferring no. 3. Great action shots.

Cool action shots Sandy. I’m with Dennis and Jim on #3.

All well photographed, but agree the third one is the standout. I like the perch in the first shot and the action in the second with both feet off the ground and a hint of blur.

Hi Sandy, as others have stated, these are all fine catches. That third image is really something else - love the head on view and open beak. Well done.
