Serviceberry Falls

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

Autumn leaves on the serviceberry tree turn with interesting blend of red, orange, and green. I thought I would try an ICM on it to create an abstract and eliminate surrounding distractions. the result seems to be a seasonal, abstract, waterfall. What do y’all think?

Specific Feedback

Effectiveness of the ICM. Suggestions on further editing colors.

Technical Details

Nikon 750, f25, 1/8 second, at 150mm

I like the falls effect, Larry. I do think the branch crossing in the middle disrupts the flow of the image in places and I’d probably de-emphasize or remove it if this were mine. The colors are wonderful.

"Thanks, Dennis. I will work on removing that branch.

Dennis, Here’s the repost after removing the branch/ es. Much better. Many thanks. Larry

I agree, Larry. Beautiful!
