What a fun shot, Dave. “Hurry up, bud, I want to sharpen my teeth too!” Maybe blur or clone the right side BG a bit to make the upper squirrel’s head more visible? And do those greenish patches on their fur really exist (like on sloths)? No matter, this is a very entertaining look at the two mischief-makers!

A very fun image, Dave. I’m not sure I get the feeling of heat from this, but it does look like a very sunny day. Mike mentioned greenish patches on the squirrels. The color feels a bit off to me, but I’m viewing it on a laptop as my desktop is in the shop.

Looks hot to me - as if they are just limp, exhausted, lying prostrate and languishing in the sun, especially the one hanging out of the nesting box. They might even be panting, as they do when hot.
It made me laugh, as Im in the Pantanal and its been 90-95 some days and we have felt just like that.
Very funny image and well-presented.
