Six Trumpeter Swans preening in the morning sunlight at Robe Lake, Valdez, Ak. There was no one at the lake but me and the swans. They were totally absorbed in their preening and I was quite a ways away so it made for a very peaceful and serene event. What looks like snow in this scene is actually feathers from all the preening and flapping that were in the air and floating on the water.
Specific Feedback Requested
I didn’t want to go any lower with the framing because the weeds & brush at the edge of the lake got pretty ugly and the top of the frame was just more water with the opposite shore at the very top so I chose to crop it into a panorama. Right choice or not?
