About the Presenter
Jennifer is a full-time nature photographer from Colorado that travels the American West photographing, exploring and teaching photography workshops. While she enjoys photographing landscapes, her real passion is focusing on the smaller details in those landscapes. She is best known for her photography of natural abstracts, smaller scenes, and her black and white wild dolphin imagery. She strives to make compelling photos to trigger emotions and feelings, but more importantly, to help bring awareness to the inspiring and delicate natural world we live in.
Jennifer, along with professional photographer David Kingham travel full-time in a travel trailer with their two cats teaching photography year-round in some of nature’s most beautiful classrooms. She enjoys teaching her students how to express themselves through their imagery and how to connect with their subjects from behind the lens.
I watched this webinar with great interest. There was so much covered during the one hour presentation. I really loved the intimate images that were used as examples for the ideas you provided. But that one image, “The Galaxy” I think was it’s title, was just amazing. A puddle that looks like a Van Gogh Starry Night is an amazing transformation. If there was one bit of advice on the webinar it would be that it felt rushed in both content and delivery. I think more time spent on fewer concepts would be make it stronger. Take it with a grain of salt. Great presentation. Thank you.
Jennifer,
First off I want to thank you and David for all the hard work you do here at NPN as I think it is the best community of nature photographers out there. I got to watch the replay last night and I have to say that I really enjoyed your positive thought process while sharing your amazing images with us. I loved your macro work, particularly “The Galaxy” as I found it mesmerizing. I still love that grand landscape, but I have found myself reaching for my 80-200 more and more over the last couple of years and your presentation will only help and reinforce that. Anyway, thanks again!
Finally able to catch up on some lost time. Just completed the webinar and really took a lot away from hearing your perspectives. Well done, so thank you for presenting this webinar.
