Very cool, Jay. I like the way the light pollution creates the golden glow and silhouettes the foreground.

This is a fine, night sky shot, Jay, with the light on the horizon adding some interesting color gradations to the sky. In shots like this, I’m always fascinated with the challenge in recognizing the constellations like the Big and Little Dippers. Our cameras pick up so many more stars that we recognize by eye…

Very cool effect with the star trails and the color gradient works very well, Jay. My only suggestion would be to clone out the intruding limbs in the LRC and those along the left edge. Beautifully done.

Thanks for the comments.
