Spring blossoms

While out on my regular weekend morning hike I walked past these backlit blossoms while looking for birds and wildlife. I try to keep an open mind while in the field and not get too fixated on fauna.

Technical Details

f/7.1, 1/800, iso1250. 600mm on full frame hand held. Shot slightly under exposed so I have quite a range of processing available without blowing out the highlights if I wish.

I love the flower and the way you composed it in the picture. But I am struggling a bit differentiating between it and the background. I would recommend significantly darkening the background and then maybe even converting to black and white to allow the viewer to really see this amazing flower and enjoy the composition. Nicely done.
