Standing Out

I’m planning a trip out to the Smokies / Blue Ridge Parkway a littler later this month, but in the mean time this is an image that I took last year along the Blue Ridge Parkway. The color was later than usual last year (seems to be a recurring theme for me recently!), but in this case I think it worked to my advantage. I really like how the red trees in particular stand out in this image.

Exquisite, Brian. I enjoy the color variation and the shapes created by the trees. Very very well done!

Very nice collection of colors, Brian! I agree that the red trees really make the scene special. Nicely capture also!
