Description: I got this handsome stellar’s jay near our suet block in the early morning sun.

Specific Feedback Requested: Does the cropping look about right?

Great pose and wonderful perch, Dave. The blurred background is a little busy, but does not distract from the wonderful bird. Well done.

I love these birds and am jealous since I’ve never gotten a shot half so good. Love the pose and the perch. I think the square-ish crop works well here. The background is a bit busy, but with some Photoshop magic you can smooth it even more -

I like it however I like the original intensity of the background blue colors that compliment the subject’s blues. I thought it was a cool coincidence.

An fine image of the Steller’s Jay, Dave. I like the blur. The background blue may be natural, but to my eye it doesn’t look real-I’ve just never seen that intense a shade in nature.
