Peter,It’s almost a drawing. Fine contrast by the light foreground and darker background color.

I would try to accentuate even more the contrast and to darken the background.
This is an interesting tree study of early spring that becomes a near abstract. I love the gentle color palette used here. Everything about this image is subtle, but very appealing at the same time. My only suggestion for tweaks would be to burn the sky highlights in the top center, and above the notch of the tree in the URC. This would help focus more attention on the delicate colors and textures in the bottom half of the image. I would not crop the top, I like your composition as presented, and would prefer to deal with the sky highlights via luminosity mask based burning.
