Steve, this is a pleasant little falls, where your slow shutter lets the moving water stand out. Small scenes like this are fun to find. In this case, I’m thinking that a slight shift of the frame towards the right would balance the side-to-side view. (Assuming, of course, that there wasn’t a problem lurking just out of the frame.)

Thank you, Mark. As you considered, from the precarious position I had to stand, my composition was limited by the surrounding vegetation.

I really like viewing this image. You made a great choice to back up and capture it! I find the composition to be very pleasing and I really like the texture of the water. I had the same thought as @Mark_Seaver regarding shifting the image, but this composition is really nice as well. Another thought would be to darken some of the highlights in the lower middle left. They tend to distract my eye from the waterfall a little.
