I like this composition with the colors and nice detail. I might take a little off the bottom and add a little to the top to move the subject down a bit in the frame

Very nice!! I like the amount of detail both in the darker snag and in the snow – nicely done! The composition is also very nice. I think @Ronald_Murphy has a good idea, but update that gradient on the bottom if you crop there.

Simon, this is nicely minimalist, with the blue tones in the snow at the bottom quite different from the white snow elsewhere.

Scenes like this always grab me. The raggedness and the smooth snow are nice contrasts. The frame feels a tad tight and it feels underexposed for a snowy slice. I like it though, has some room for finessing if you had a mind.

Hello Everyone,

After reading you all I did go back to Lightroom only to find the frame was fully cropped to the top. I am trying to remember if I was cutting off an intrusive branch from the top… We will never know.

Thank you for the comments. Exposure in snowy scenes is a challenege to me!
