Hi Santhru! This is a very nice portrait of the sunbird. You captured good color and detail, and handled the bright light well. My only suggestion is to burn the white portion of the background in the lower half of the frame as the brightness draws the eye away from the main subject.

Hi Santhru, Love seeing this new to me bird with the curved beak. Nice profile view with fine details. Light seems a bit strong but you handled it well exposing the bird and rendering color. I’m also wondering what a version would look like darkening the background a bit and also reducing some glare on the leaves. A fine catch.

Thanks Allen :). I will try my hands out

Thanks for the feedback Steve  .

A lovely bird, which I think deserves to be bigger in the frame. I would suggest cropping from both sides to a square and trying to burn down the white. The OOF BG above the white is lovely – it would have been wonderful if you could capture a frame with more of that and less of the white.

Thanks Diane  . I will give it another shot .
