…ughs against the OOF background of the surface of the pond. A green subject on green background can be tough to pull off, but in this case I think it actually worked. I also liked how these spruce boughs were elegantly suspended like this.I’ll eventually get around to posting some mountain laurel images, but I’m often pleasantly surprised by what I find when I’m initially looking for something else.

I am a late comer to this image, Ed. Wow, you have an amazing intimate landscape. The greens work perfectly and those raindrops really make the image pop. It is interesting that at 1/5 of a second, you captured the image without any sign of movement. Any lesson for me to learn about this? Thanks.
