This female Polar Bear had left her winter den with her cub to make the long trek to Hudson Bay to hunt for seals. but a high wind came up and it was time to rest, so she dug a snow cave and they took refuge. Reprocessed image captured south of Churchill, Manitoba in February 2022.

Charles, this is lovely! Cubby is precious, and mom is certainly keeping an eye on you!
My suggestions would be to consider leaving more room on the left, so the bears are not so centered. Also, the contrast between the white cub and dark mom is pretty stark, so I’d considerably lighten mom up.
Others may well feel differently.
A fine image !
That was quite the reach with your lens +TC! Good thing too, as it looks like that mama was well aware of you. Did you get to watch her dig out that cave? I like Sandy’s idea of playing with the crop so there’s more room on the left. You could even bring it in a bit on the right to emphasize the framing effect of the trees there.
This is such a cute picture. I actually like the centered placement of the bears as it brings you face to face with them and you can feel you are part of the scene.
