Egor, seeing the title was an immediate draw for me. The old movie with Peter Lorre about “The Hand” came to mind…
I really like this for the bit of uniqueness overall and story telling. The lost, looks like a welders glove to me as I have a pair, and then where did it come from and who is missing it. Again the story side of the scene. … :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Igor,

First thought was pollution. Discarded human made stuff polluting the water ways. And why is it in the water? The B&W treatment gives it more documentary feel about it. Interesting.

I had the same impression as Youssef, having seen similiar scenes, especially at the Ilwaco boat basin.

Help me, I’m drowning was my first reactiom.

Dr. Strangelove lost his hand!!! First thought: creepy. But it is interestingly creepy.

“interestingly creepy” sounds about right. I like the composition.

What a cool find!! The iPhone was up to the job – totally wonderful!

Makes me think of a surreal painting with the glove floating and that abstract black shape in the upper right. And the gray tones really work. Though, I could also see this as a spot color of the glove – depending on the color. Yellow or green might be really striking. Thought provoking image. Thanks for sharing!

The glove was orange. I converted to b&w due to that color. Thank you for commenting on the black shape at top right. You’re the first. I put in some effort to get that because it was an important element to what I thought this was about.

Nervous! What was I going to find if I stayed longer!. Cool capture!

Interesting. Trying to make sense of a disembodied hand and the silhouette of some prehistoric monster entering the frame above it. Very well seen.

Initial reaction - Yikes! Creepy! There’s a monster coming into the frame and body parts floating in the water.

Yeah, as the others have said, kinda creepy. Well done.

Certainly creepy and a little disconcerting. The glove and the reflection are great story tellers.

This image is so simple and so unique. Very cool.
