Better Edit

Gil, yes I think the second “Better Edit” version is the ticket here. Although the first works just fine too. It sounds like you have made a project out of; “THE FLOW OF LIGHT”, and might be an item for the NPN Project Category maybe?..just a thought.

Thanks. That would be a cool project for the NPN if enough photographers had interest. The way I see it is when we press that shutter we have natural light or artificial light to work with. I tried to capture artificial light using natural light in my images. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. I have a couple more artificial lights ( lamps) in my portfolio.
Maybe the NPN Project can come up with something cool.

I like the second edit a little better as well, Gill. It is interesting to see street lights obviously lit from above like this, though I have a pet peeve against street lights being on during the day. However it does make for a very interesting image. I particularly like the background in this one as it has an ominous sky look to it.

Thanks. I did a series of street lamps. Sometimes I think it’s good to pick a subject and see what you can do. I did a series on tree roots ( fell and tore my rotor cuff) but I got the shot.
Thanks again for showing interest in my images. Black and White photography touched my soul when I was a kid. Just like the guitar.
