The look back

What technical feedback would you like if any?

I was hoping to see an early return of the Osprey’s and Great Blue Heron’s, when I came across this Mallard at Essex’s Ct South Cove. Of the shots I took, liked this look-back the best. The light gave his coloring the best pop.
Thank you for stopping by.

Great pose. Nice colors throughout and good handling of blacks and whites.

A very sweet pose from the Mallard, Peter. I like your processing.

Mallards are fun to photograph especially when things seem a bit slow. I like the pose. One thing I often do is clone out the little hot spots from water drops on the bird and on the bill. I know it is not natural but does seem to clean things up a bit.
