The Next Generation

To finish my series on the Dragon Swallowtail, here is a larva hatched on the same site in Korea. I’m hoping to see many more, having only found two today, feeding on Aristolochia contorta.

Mike, I’m so glad that they hatched and you were able to find one and photograph it. Hopefully more soon. So neat to follow the whole process of nature. He’s a beauty. I love the perch he is on too. Looks nice and sharp all the way from one end to the other, so f14 paid off, yet the perch was far enough from the BG that it is nice and smooth. Nice.

An interesting caterpillar who has obviously been munching away. As Shirley mentioned, nice dof helped with the sharpness throughout. Nicely done.
