This is a lovely submission Armin. The light rays and clouds infuse this misty dreamy feel to the image. A meditative perspective. Normally I would argue for a straight horizon but here I feel it adds to the landscape environment.
Armin, foggy and trees make for some great crepuscular rays, that you’ve caught well here. This feels nicely balanced as presented with the trees and land completing the story.
I’m not sure a portrait crop would help - the leading line created by the depth of the trees to the right of the picture I think adds a lot to the photo and makes the overall image more complete and harmonious.

You captured a wonderful mood here with the rays of the sun piercing through the light fog. IMO you should keep this in a landscape format as I like the trees hiding in the fog on the right and left sides of the frame. I think they add an air of mystery to this wonderful scene. Very nicely done.
