Apologies for playing this for way more than it’s worth – I’ve just been super busy. It is indeed bird poo (Glennie gets the prize!), but I can’t figure out how it got there, under a 15 ft overhang. The screen hasn’t been closed all winter – it’s splatted right on the door with no drips – so it must have been a ballistic feat.

Cool…it doesn’t get more abstract than this. But it’s clearly a microscope slide of thawed ice from Jupiter’s moon Europa.

You haven’t seen bird poo in odd places until you’ve seen the projectile poo of a lorikeet.
@Glenys_Passier, Lorikeets are so cute, I can’t imagine them… uh, well, maybe… They do seem to have a mischievous look and are probably clever enough to enjoy being a nuisance?
