Vervet Monkey

A family of Vervets were picking all the fruit in this tree right next to the camp’s dinning deck. When they got all the fruit they left and we didn’t see them again. I was happy I was here at the right time.

I like the framing of the vervet monkey Steve. The out of focus foreground works well. I would suggest being careful if the shutter speed when handholding - 1/100 us s bit slower than I would be comfortable with at a focal length of 200mm.

I love the pose and half-hidden aspect of this image, Steve. The only change I’d think of making is to subdue the bright sky patches in the upper left a bit. A wonderful image.
