The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
I stopped at a refuge south of here last Friday. It was still pretty early for the wintering waterfowl, but there were a fair number of Canada geese and modest numbers of ducks around for this bird to prey on. It was perched in a tree directly over the auto tour route, but it was possible to angle hte car enough to get some shots.
Specific Feedback
I thought these shots would end up being too steep, but when I processed this one it felt reasonable to me. How do you feel about the angle?

Hi Dennis
The Eagle looked like it was high up in a tree. Maybe if you cropped some the lower frame the photograph, the angle may appear to less. Anyway, nice looking Eagle.

Dennis, it is amazing how we can see things differently. When I first opened it, I thought he was down on a bush, not high up in a tree. After further looking at the limbs I can see he is in a tree, but it still felt like he wasn’t too much above eye level to me. Anyway, it sure is a fine look at this beautiful creature. My brother and his wife get to see them a lot at their farm which is on a creek. He calls them “vultures wearing a tuxedo” because he sees the eagle chase the vultures away from fresh carcasses. The vulture relies on what is already dead, and the eagle can go kill it’s dinner, so it bothers him. To me they are beautiful creatures, and you did a fine job capturing this one.
The angle looks fine to me, almost eye-level. As Pter said, if you wanted to make him truly eye-level, it would be easy with a different crop.
Nice pose from this stately fellow and fine detail.
Nice catch!
Nice capture Dennis. These are such regal birds and you show that off well here. What a stare he is giving. Angle of shot looks fine to me. Nice frame.
