Description

Maryhill Stonehenge (a life-size replica) is located above the Columbia River south of Goldendale in Klickitat County, Washington. It was built by Sam Hill. “(It was the first (monument) built in the USA to pay tribute to military personnel who gave their lives in World War I.” (thegorgeguide.com/stonehenge-in-washingtonstate/). The Maryhill Museum, a few miles down river, is a wonderful museum.

Very cool! Wonderful detail in the clouds and an intriguing silhouette. It all looks very mysterious and a little menacing.
