David,

I keep trying to find the discussion and leave a comment about the “Think Harder” webinar. I began watching it in real time but unfortunately as so often happens to me I had to leave. However, I watched the recording in it’s entirety and to be honest, much to my surprise I really enjoyed it. Sometimes I am much too critical 9f myself and feel like I’m not elevated enough, either educationally or artistically, to enjoy presentations such as this. But, I stuck with it this time and I think learned a lot. Of course I could never be as creative as Marsel and don’t have the means even if I was as talented. That said, I liked Marsel’s approach. Having a background in quality assurance I too like to plan so his approach appeals to me on very basic level. Thanks for bringing Marsel to my attention.

Regards, George

Hi George, glad to hear you enjoyed it. I found it quite interesting myself, even though his approach is completely different than mine. He’s obviously incredibly talented and creative, and I have to be careful not to let folks like this influence my own creative path. Learn from them, but don’t let yourself feel inferior because of their achievements. We’re all on a different journey!

What a fascinating presentation. There were so many great ideas in there.

The description of Previz really resonated with me, a fabulous mix of highly creative forethought, stacks of meticulous planning and the technical knowledge and ability to pull it all off. Very impressive indeed.

Thanks
