The poses are fine, showing good interaction between the pair. Really good technique in getting these birds so sharp and like your Avocet shot they really pop against the water.
Superb interaction images, Allen. I like the poses and head turns in the first a little better, but that tuft of feathers being pulled in the second is just perfect.

The wings up pose of both birds are wonderful. The images are so energetic.
I love the first one for the colours and poses and the second one for that feather pulling .

The framing and action is great, it’s hard to get this type of inter action with Yellowlegs, they are fast moving birds. Nice work.
